There, that title should assure me an all-female audience today.
A funny thing happened the other day. One of those things that's slightly awkward, but oh-so-funny, and only would happen in a house with a toddler.
We traveled last weekend, and since I didn't yet know that Jellybean was on the way, I packed my trusty industrial-sized maxi-pads. Since I didn't need them, they came home in our suitcase. I haven't unpacked yet (because that's the kind of housewife I am) and the suitcase has been sitting opened on our bedroom floor.
Wednesday night, on the way to brush her teeth in our bathroom, Wendy spied a pretty purple package. She went over to our suitcase, picked up one of the still-wrapped maxi-pads, and said, "Pillow!"
Then she promptly put it on the floor, laid her little head on it, and said, "Night-night!"
Someday I'll tell that story to her fiance just to make her blush.

That is too funny! I have never heard them called "Pillows" before! LOL! Ben thinks that they are bandaids for my belly!

LOL! My little niece, at about that age, decided they were very large band-aids. She took the strip off and stuck it to her leg (on the outside of her fuzzy pajamas!) and then went and told her mommy that she had an owie! Little kids are so cute!
This is a great story to tell her later on in life!!!
Oh yes, I cannot wait for these happenings. Oh joy. (can you see me jumping up and down with glee? I thought so!)
That is SOOO funny! I bet you just cracked up!
Yay!!! I didn't know! What very good news, Jeni! OH, I am so excited for you and praying for this little one.
Sydney's birthday was August 25th, so she's just a little bit older than your girly, girl. I love her sweetness and laying down on the pillows.
