Emergency!

Not really.

But I'm out of things to read. I finished the Twilight series earlier this week, and then read a couple of other books I had sitting around, and now I'm out. There is no fiction in this house that I haven't read at least once. I'm going to have to make a trip to the library, possibly this evening after Wendy's nap. I just have to have reading material.

What books should I look for at the library? My favorite genres are historical fiction & Christian fiction. I like things that are well-written and complex, but still easy to read when I'm sleepy.

Any suggestions? Any authors you love? Any special series I should look for?

Have you ever read anything by Mindy Starns Clark? I just read Whispers of the Bayou (a fairly light read, but enjoyable) and think I may try some more by her.

Have you read "The Thirteenth Tale". I'm about half way through and really enjoying it. Diane Sutterfield is the author.

I just finished "The Invention of Everything Else" by Samantha Hunt. It's historical fiction about Nikola Tesla, who I'm in danger of getting seriously obsessed with. I can't believe anyone that weird/brilliant really existed.

I just read "The Duggars: 20 and Counting" about the famly in Arkansas with 18 kids. I know this sounds silly but it literally changed the way I think about a lot of stuff and opened my eyes to more of my faith especially dealing with the power of prayer. It's an easy read and I think everyone should read it!!
